    does your pet like winter?

My calico, Julie, really hates being cold...and the older she gets, the more she seems to feel it. She is strictly an indoor kitty and thus by human standards stays relatively warm all day. However, when I am at home, she wants to be on my lap or next to me just about all the time. When I am busy, she will meow and meow and walk over to the easy chair, where her "favorite" lap can be found. I guess there is something about my position in that chair that is the most comfortable for her! It's another way that pets are the saviours of our health....Her frequent calls for a "kitty break" are good reminders for me to stop and "smell the roses" more often myself!

    All My Fault

Not only do my cats hate the cold - they also make it quite clear that they blame me for the weather.

Mine love winter, but winter here, isn't really all that cold. It's so hot during the summer though, that with the first cold snap, comes a lot of bouncy, rambunctious behavior.

Ziggy and Bouncer loves the winter! Although, Muffin and Buster , I don't think they really care. Tiger and CoCo hates it. They want to be under the blankets all the time and they sit there and shake when they have to go outside to use the restroom.

I have to say yes, they like winter.
Only because it's cool enough to actually have the house open, and they love being able to go outside whenever they please, without having to ask.

Echo and Tango LOVE winter! They like to run around and shovel the snow with their noses They also like to dig in it. Tia hates winter though, she doesn't like to have wet fur and she hates being cold.

Autumn loves the snow, but she always keeps one eye on me so she knows if I have a snowball aimed at her. Pepper runs around the entire yard eating as much snow as she can. She won't touch her water dish in the winter, she goes outside when she is thirsty and has some snow.
