Thursday's #63 - Are we there yet??

Ok, OK, I know it's early but how can you tell I'm excited. I thought the theme this week could be California Dreamin' since some of us will be hopping cars, planes, trains, and boats to make it to Gini's on time.

So everyone, put on your best California garb and grab your surfboard and let's get this party started.

DOTD:

California Dream

Ingredients:
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth

Instructions:
In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the tequila, sweet vermouth, and dry vermouth. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.

BTW: Good morning everyone!!! Yes, I know this should be the theme for next week but I couldn't help myself.

Have you seen Mario's pictures in pet general? In the pictures he is eating blueberries.

Sounds like you are all going to have lots of fun at Gini's! Be sure and make lots of pictures.

He really loves those blueberries! He looks good in blue too and wears blueberry juice well!

I'd like to start with a super duper cherry limeade. Summer is here! Finally a break from the rain but now heat index near 110. I guess I'm just hard to please!

Wow, we've got an early start here this morning, but that's ok with me!

I'm in a dumpy mood because my life is filled with crabby people - WHAT AM I DOING HERE!!!! I ask myself?

But I've got one of those california dreams myself, so I'll have one of the drinks too. That should improve my mood so I can help Slick celebrate! I can just tell how excited you are and I so wish I could be there too. But I know I'll get to see lots and lots of pics, so that'll be like I was almost there, right?

And Slick, you haven't told me when you're going to be in front of that camera! I want to see you on Venice Beach!!!

Good morning everyone! I was up really early this morning to let the plumber into my home.

Seems the toilet would not flush properly. Couldn't have that happen during the BBQ now could I?

Ya know, we really don't drink this early in CA unless it is Sunday and we have a BM. (well, at least I don't).

So, I will have coffee - what Slick? You have Bailey's - well there is always a first time. What a way to start the day!

Remember now, we don't allow crabapples into this bar...........

Yeap, Mario has his mouth full of blueberries. There was one picture of Mario, I didn't post. You know he runs around fully nude, and well he was showing off he body while he was eating. I decided I wouldn't show that picture!

Think I would like to try a California Dream now. Maybe I should make some blueberry wine out of some of those blueberries. Is there any such thing as blueberry wine?

I have made wine out of Apples, and it is really yummy!

Think I will give it a try.
