Thread: Daphne models her new handmade collars!

Daphne models her new handmade collars!

I made Daphne some dog collars. They're made from hemp cord.

Here's the first one I made - it's in the style of a human necklace, with a little charm on it.

and here's the second one. I used the snap from an old collar of hers.

and here's the newest one - I bought big hemp, and made a spiral one. This one I made after I got my new cool book on hemp jewelry

Daphne isn't too fond of the camera, that's why she doesn't look so happy.

They're fun to make. I'm not sure how they'd hold up for walks on leash though - so far they've held up. I'll have to do some tests.

Oh, and here's some pics of all of them:

    Cute!

I've always been meaning to pick up some hemp to work with.

Is it hard to learn to do stuff like that?

Verrry nice!! They are very cool, never thought of that. I have hemp, but its the skinny kind so it would never work.

Kay - its extremely easy once you catch on, you'd be a pro in no time.

I used to do a lot of hempwork, but never thought of making dog collars... Those are awesome!
