I went to see Evie yesterday. I named the baby cockatiel that is too young to come home Evie, in case you didn't know. Anyway, I went to see her and I walk in and there are only 5 birds in the cage. There were about 15 before. It's been about 3 weeks so I was excited because I figured the others had gone home. I start talking to the girl that is hand raising them and she tells me the others are DEAD! Um, excuse me?!?! Why!? It turns out they had a bacterial infection and they lost a lot of them. The rest, including Evie, are being treated. They are doing better, but still aren't out of the woods yet. They asked if I wanted my money back, but I told them no. They said Evie will be tested by the vet before they let her come home, but I'm still worried that Alex, Danny, & Milton will get sick. I was impressed that this pet store spent the money to get the babies well. I really would have expected them to put the babies down. I'm pretty sure with the meds, exams, and lab tests that they are losing money on every bird.
Please pray the Evie makes it.
Here are a few pics, but they are really bad. I didn't want to open the cage or handle her since she is sick.

I hope that she is able to fight this and gets better real quick.
