Whaoo a cool ride

Well I guess I can now make it offical , We bought a 1975 goldwing. Actually we got it 7 weeks ago but its been in the shop getting redone (engine wise )
we just got back back from our first ride together .

Thats a sharp looking bike!

My father in law had a goldwing a long time ago and it was nice! I took a couple of rides with him and loved it! Now, I'm afraid of them .....lol. I guess I'm getting too old and have known to many people who have wrecked on their bikes.

WOW Corinna - well done you two! Great Wing

Our Wing is away at the Greasy Hospital being mended!!
Don had a bit of a scare 4 weeks back - riding home one evening after days of brilliant sunshine - it started to rain and the roads were like like glass, taking a very dodgy bend - very carefully - he completley lost it - he went one way and thank God the bike went the other way - hit the kerb and completley turned over -

Don was completley undamaged - the bike - sniff, sniff - in a mess!
It's going to take a long time before it's well enough to come home.

As you know riding a Wing is unlike any other bike going - and Don is a very safe rider - but I'm feeling quite nervous about getting on again! Oh must add - I wasn't with him when he came off.
