    UNUSUAL shelter kitty

I thought this one was so unusual and SO beautiful that I wanted to show it to all my friends.. Anyone have a clue what kind this is before I post it on the shelter web sight??

Notice the thick looking shorter apperaing legs...

It has a smaller head for it's bigness and it is awesome looking!

That is an unusual looking kitty! It's body doesn't look like it belongs to the head. I have no idea what it might be though....

Was the fur on her head shaved/trimmed? I'd guess a longhair mix that wasn't given proper nutrition as a kitten, hence the short legs!

Wow, she is very unusual looking.

Scout has short legs but they aren't think like that. I call her my low rider.

    Unusual...but a cutie!!!!

Gee, I have never seen one that looks that. But it is a rare beauty. It ought not be hard to find a good home for this one. But who knows with people. I love ALL kitties and only real cat lovers go to the shelters. We can pray for these little hearts to be adopted soon.

I know the breed Munchkins have short legs like that, but can't say for sure if this is one.
Here is a picture of one I borrowed from a site.
. Notice the short legs. They come in all different colors.

What a gorgeous and unusual kitty. My first thought when I saw her was that she might be part Munchkin. I don't think she is full Munchkin but she might be part and that's where she got the legs. Then again maybe she is just a midget kitty! Whatever, she sure is cute!!!

Besides her legs, her neck looks unusually long... like she can extend it like a turtle. She's precious!! I'd guess a Munchkin mix.

    I thought a Munchkin,Too,but thne neck,and hind legs,are quite a bit,out of proportion,so I have to agree,that it isa Mixed breed ,Muchkin,and DSH Cat!Very unique Cat,One Of A Kind!

WW Very interesting kitty. Is the body a normal sized body? The neck fur even looks different from the body fur.

It could just be a genetic muctation. I'm pretty sure that's how the munchkin breed started out, they weren't bred to be short it just naturally appeared in a regular sized kitty. My grandfather had a barn cat that had really short legs like a Munchkin, but I know it wasn't a purebred or even a mix because it was just a barn cat. It was just a genetic mutation, but I think the short legs make her cute and special

The body size is that of a normal LARGE cat (big boned), that is why it's head looks so small, except it's tail seems unusually long and extreemly fluffy. Just a odd and beautiful sweetheart that wants to play, play, play! Adapted to shelter life overnight.
