Gigi went to the vet today.

Gigi's tummy has not been doing that good since her teeth extraction. Today she did not have diaheera (sp), but she has brown liquid! Yuck. So I immediately took her to the vet. The vet did some blood work and tests, it looks like something in her blood could have constitute to her having an upset stomach, so she has 2 type of medicines and need to have a bland diet. Hopefully that will take care of her upset stomache. I think she actually enjoys the bland diet, cuz it's something different than her regular dog food. I hope my poor baby will recover soon. Since my tummy is upset as well, so I think I will do the bland diet with her.

I need some good thoughts for my little girl.

Aww poor baby!! Sending prayer her way! Is she on a perscription diet, like I/D from Science Diet, that's one we have and Sox the hospital dog loves it, lol!

No prescription diet for her. Just need to go on bland diet for a week.

And she just threw up everything she has eaten.

Poor Gigi, I hope she gets to feeling better. Maybe just feed her very small amounts and she will be able to keep it on her little tummy.

Gigi threw up again either last nite or early morning inside her crate. I will have to take her back to the vet again tomorrow.

I'm sorry she's feeling so poorly!

My vet told me that, if the dogs vomited, I wasn't supposed to give them anything at all to eat or drink for at least 1 hour, then only about a little water until they were all done throwing up.

I don't know of you want to do that for Gigi or not, but I thought I'd pass it on.
