    Let's play ball...... (pics)

    I had the shelties out in the backyard today and decided to play with a ball that was out there. Mostly we played catch, and we threw some retrieving in there for fun

    First it was just Clipse and I. Emily was laying in the shade and didn't want to move.....



    I know... it looks like his neck is broken!! LOL









    Then it was Emily's turn. While she was catching Clipse was running around her in circles.

    I was trying to throw the ball and take the pic in these....so there are some pretty bad throws... and in some of the pics I have no idea where the ball actually is....

    Great Pics.

    My Katie use to be a pretty good little..hmm..big retriever. She never could catch the ball though. Ever since Tori came into our home she no longer retreives the ball now. Katie and Tori just chase the ball down and then lay down and the both try to tear it to pieces. I miss Katie bringing the ball back to me

    Awwww... I love your Shelties. They always look soo well groomed and happy. Love the "flying" pictures.

    Those are so cute! I can only imagine the trouble you had taking those pics. That very last one is especially good of both of them. Looks like they're tennis ball crazy.

    Actually they're not. Emily always used to spit tennis balls out several times on the way back with them. I think she didn't like the feel of the fuzz in her mouth. Clipse will only retrieve if I put Emily in a down stay or else she just takes the toy from him

    Mostly they are just crazy over whatever it is I have to throw for them at the time....LOL

    I wish my dogs were like that. Kai loves playing but Kaedyn just stares at the ball and looks like he wants to say "And what do you want me to do with that?"
