    Im all nerves *eek*

I just got Mr Remus *Or Reman demon as the hubby now calls him * on saturday. He goes in for a checkup and shots on Friday and Im all nerves about it!!! I know he is ok *really active, healthy boy* but I feel so bad because I can't go in with him *stupid work wont let me take time off* so mum in law and hubby are going to take him.
Remus has very quickly become a mommys cat. I hope he will be ok!!

It certainly didn't take long for Remus to twist you into a worrying bundle of nerves did it??!! We understand and I'm sure everything will be fine. From your other posts I would say that the vets office may be in for some fun!!
Remus sounds like a doll and I can't wait for pictures and I really can't wait until he gets his new sister Squirt.
I used to send hubby when it was time to drop off the kitties to get fixed and I made sure I was the one that rescued them from the horrible place!!

Remus will be fine and you keep us posted on how it goes. Don't worry, he'll be back at home in no time.

I know there isnt anything to worry about but... *sigh*. Yesterday, I went out and called like 5 times to my roomate to make sure he was ok. That darn cat. He slept all day...I've got to get a picture. *mom says she'll let me borrow the digital cam tomorow yay yay yay!!!!* He likes to sleep in the crack of the couch cussions...at first I thought he just got hit with a nap attack and just fell there but last night I SAW him posistion himself just right in the couch crack and fall asleep.

    What a wierdo

Are any of your guys cats wierdos lol.

Heres a new add on to the Furminoligy Dictionary *not really an entry, maybe there should be an apendix of cat observations?*

Four month old cats have a sixth sense. They will figure out within five minutes what plants, furnature etc. that you DON'T want chewed on and then proceed to chew on them just long enough to get your attention. Then they'll stop, look cute and make it IMPOSIBLE to be mad at em lol.

I'm still trying to figure out how he learned how to CLIMB the speakers, can't he just jump? The speakers ARE lower than the couch and he can jump on to that...easily.

Agh, I'm a victim of cat babble!!! *Is that in the dictionary, it should be *

    - I'm not grinning at your worry and observations but grinning cause I can certainly relate. Cats are so fascinating! I feel for you worrying about the vet trip. You know in your mind it will be ok, but as a mommy it's your nature to worry. My wilber sits on top of the couches in the crack too

I've got aalmost 3 month old kitten, DJ, and I feel your pain. I could go with her her first two visits to the vet. My boyfriend said she screeched - literally - the second time. I felt so bad for not being there!! but no worries, Sophie forgot the whole experience once she was home and is back to being her usual nawtee self.

How is Remus on using the litterbox? That was my biggest source of stress with Sophie, but since I got her a new Booda Dome purple litterbox - she likes it 'cause it's purty - she hasn't had a single accident! *knocks on wood*

The thing that stresses me out about kittens is keeping a constant eye on them. Sophie's much better now (esp. with the new litterbox) but I'm always afraid I will step on her. I guess that's because my old college roommate stepped on her 8 week old kitten once, and collapsed its lung! Poor thing had to be taken immedately to the vet for a three day stay - but has since made a full recovery!

Anyway, best of luck w/Remus - and we all hope he gets a new playmate (Squirt) very soon!

Remus was fully litterbox trained when I got him, amazingly enough. One smart boy he is!!! Oh, and he usually is snoozing up high so no one will step on him!!

An update on Squirt for anyone who reads this:

The lady has now decided to stop talking to us altoegher. We STILL have some things there and might have to get the law involved for getting it back. If I have to go through that much trouble Im just going to pack squirt in the box and leave. No talking, no nothing, just grab and go. *grrrrr* The hubby is more POed than me...he conciders Squirt HIS kitty although she pesters him a lot more than me lol. Go figure, the male attaches to my ankles and the female ataches to his

First, I LOVE that name Remus... How did you decide on that one?(Special meaning or anything))

We "parents" all dread that first visit to the white coats.. I did a first one today and needless to say, I worried myself to death over how her tests would come out.. MEANING, I KNOW how you feel! Been there, done that, sympathise for ya!!

I too, want PICTURE of our NEW PT KITTY!! Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!

    Camera tomorow!!! lol

I had a dream about Remus before I got him, and I kept getting this oddball thought of "Get a cat, name him Remus" lol. He officially is named after Remus from the story of Romulus and Remus *founding of rome*. But people sometimes think he is named after Uncle Remus of storybook fame...which is ok too

Yes, I was also nervous whenever any of my babies had to go too the vets, not so much when it was just for their shots, but when they had to stay in when I had them fixed.
I cried when they brought my Chipper out to me after he had the big snip, snip.
Even though you know they are going to be okay, you still can't help but worry about them. That's what Mom's are for.

Let us know how Remus is doing and of course can't wait to see pictures.
