Thread: Gmail?

    Gmail?

Anyone have gmail? You can read about it at gmail.google.com (I think) it's pretty good although you can't sign up yet unless someone invites you. You get 1 gig of storage too! Someone invited me so I'm trying it out. I haven't gotten any invitations yet to send anyone

I've got my name on the waiting list. It's going to go public eventually and then I'm leaving Yahoo. I think that's why they did what they did recently.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I was thinking the same. I'll send you an invite if I ever get one lol (if it's before you get in)

My husbands friend has it and invited my husband but he said he'd never use it and he turned it down.

Paul and I both have gmail accounts now. If we get invitations to send out - we'll be sure to send them to you who have been waiting!

Yes, I heard about it too. Except for the big storage size, anything special?

I've never heard of it. Although, I don't send e-mails much.. my inbox gets filled up quickly from people e-mailing, and then e-mailing again because I haven't replied. ;x It's because I check it maybe once every two weeks, or when someone tells me they're sending something

Not quite. With gmail you get 10 times more: 1000 MB = 1 GB.

I have gmail and absolutely love it. I've had it for about it a week now, but still haven't been given any invites to send out. They right to invite new people is given randomly as I understand it.

I have it - I love it. I am using it for my high-volume mailing lists. I like the labels - instead of filtering emails into folders you can make labels for them. And it keeps all emails with the same subject line together, so the conversations can be separated from the other fluff mail. Adn knowing Google, they will come up with much better spam filters than yahoo. That is waht made me angry about Yahoo - they make such a big deal out of their "Spam Guard" and bulk mail folder, but I'd get spam in my inbox and non-spam good email in my bulk mail folder.

i've heard of it, i don't send that much email, but i it sound good. even though i usually don't like having 50 million email addresses, google should be nice since i never have to delete anything. i think i'm on the waiting list. Any ideas when it's coming out to the public?
