Birdies...Day 3 (Micah's Narration)

Mama got birdies and they are soooo fun to look at! I spend my nights before mama and daddy go to bed gaurding the floor by the TALL bookcase. When mama put the birdies outside during the day, it was so fun to stare at them all day.

I like the birdies, but they are kind of rude. They don't even acknowledge us at all!

Tonight, mama started to tame them. She put them in the bathroom and I had to listen to the flapping of wings, chirping, mama talking in her nice voice and a CLOSED DOOR!! I cried and cried and she wouldn't let me in!

After mama put the birdies away in their cage, she let me in the bathroom. I got to put my paws on the toilet, right next to the bird cage and stare real good at them.

I got bored of mama telling me not to touch their cage, so I jumped in the bathtub for some rolling around and shadow attacking.

Here I am...being cute!!!



I was trying to ignore those birdies, but they kept chirping!

Oh well...mama says the birdies are going to the white coats tomorrow so they can get their wings clipped. Ouch...that sounds like it hurts!!!

Micah, you handsome devil you! Is that mama of yours tormenting you with BIRDS!!?? As if it's not bad enough that you have to see them in the cage but now you had to listen to them flying around in the bathroom.

Sorry Micah but you are just gonna have to watch from a distance little buddy. Those pretty birds do not want to be your snack for the day!!

Grandkitty Pickles is also being tormented by budgie Skittles! But - Skittles even comes out the flutter around the room now and Pickles and Marsh are good kitties! NO bird snacking

Samantha...that's what my mommie says. How do you deal with it? Do they get boring over time?

CatMama...OK...I'll take the family thing, but mama has to promise more treats! I don't get treats cause I have an unruly tummy. Maybe some nice chicken could pursuade me.

In Vermont I have seen some Aby kitties playing rough with feathery toys. So Micah it's really better if you only look at them, and not from too close.

Feather toys are a close second to mice toys for Micah...I don't think he can be trusted.

ha ha, Kim! I told Micah what you said - yes, he knows exactly what I'm telling him, he's so smart - and he agreed fully. Just one lick...I mean KISS!!

Oreo turns evil with feather toys. He growls once he gets a hold of them and they just get shredded everywhere, they do not last long at all. Still, I let him have them sometimes cause he does enjoy them so. Wilber and I just keep our distance.
