My dad and I went to the Humane Society today, and then to my sister's house for dinner. And well, without writing a novel... here are the pictures...

Lexee, 3 year old boxer mix

4 month old Terrier mix pups, they Had coccidia (sp?)

Wish I had gotten a better picture... This is shadow 3 yo Lab mix. He was sprawled out like a rug.

I took this one for Robin.
Marley, the 7 yo akita mix. At first I thought he was a puppy. He was playing just like one. He was a sweety.... He had just got a new toy. =)

This is Simba, the Shepherd mix. He's such a sweetheart, a very iltelligent dog. I don't understand why he's been there for so long. Id' take him if I could. =(

and some of the kitties... An Orangie.

Two kitties.... as I was walking past the front of their cage, I stuck my hand out to them, the striped cat pushed the gray cat out of the way so he could rub up against my hand. =P

Thanks for thinking of me when you saw Marley. He looks so sweet and I can see Katie in his face. I haven't been able to see the video clip though. Every time I try my computer acts up. Its been acting crazy for awhile now. I need to have it looked at, but don't want to be without it...lol.

Great pictures as always KayAnn! I just love storm scenes! That was awesome! Is it just me, or are you getting "kitty fever" these days? LOL! It seems you are being drawn to kitties more and more! They are showing up in your pictures and posts a lot lately! LOL! Seriously, I know if you could you would be a 'kitty mom' in a minute.

It always breaks my heart to see the animals behind those cages. I really don't like going there like you do. Makes me very sad. I'm at work and couldn't view the videos for some reason. I love the cloud pics. They have such pretty colors in them.

It's true. I've wanted a cat so badly for a while now, ever since my brother adopted Orion.

I just don't know how you do it, going to the shelter like that. It would just break my heart and I'd want to bring all the animals home with me!

It always breaks my heart to see the animals behind those cages. I really don't like going there like you do. Makes me very sad.

To be honest, i've cried more than once on the way home from the shelter. I think, atleast I can talk to them... pet them... tell them they're good dogs, and so on. And if they aren't there the next day, they're in good homes because it's a no-kill shelter.

I talk to every single dog there... every single dog that is willing. I talk baby to them, say their names, pet them through the cage, and sometimes, most of the time there's one that pulls at me and I stay a little longer.
