    Look what we found

    We found this:

Nicki says "I don't like him mom. Send him back."

I say, "Nicki, you're the one that found him! You barked your head off silly enough to make me look outside to see what got you so worked up. You were excited when I brought him in."

He's the SWEETEST dog and man-oh-man is he a ball of energy! I can't get him to stay still for a moment. He's got all his shots, and he has a license, but nobody answered when I called about him, so I guess I'm stuck with him until they come home from work!

He won't sit still long enough for me to take the pictures! He keeps trying to steal Nicki's bone, which she's NOT happy about... ah, he stood still for a moment with the bone!

Thats one big bone for one little doggy!

(Please ignore the iron stain on the carpet - I dropped the iron a few times )

Yopu should how the cats are reacting! The have their noses under the door, and as soon as I open it, he goes running out and they scatter with tails as bushy as possible. Allen did a PERFECT Halloween cat impersonation with arched back and ready to hiss.

Awwww what a little cutie pie.

The photo of Nicki is too funny, the look on her face is priceless.

I hope the owners answer the phone soon and come and pick the dog up. Goodluck.

He is the NICEST dog! He insists on sitting on my lap and that I pet him. He's tried to chase the cats, but they are being very cautious and curious.

Yes, my room's a mess, so pretend its not!

Sorry for the back side view in both pictures... he's just always on the go-go-go!

LOL, KIm, I think when Nicki was barking, she was saying, "Mom, there is a bad ole, dog outside, go outside and make him go away", then of all things you bring him in, and Nicki is all excited because you misunderstood her!!

I hope for poor little Nicki's sake that the owners call really soon. Huh, okay, Nicki told me to say that!

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

The kids just came home from school (they had half a day, tomorrow is their last day!) and the girls want to keep him! They hope the owner won't call. I don't know if I can handle so much activity on a full time basis! BUT he is just too darn cute! He's super affectionate and follows me arounds like, um, a puppy-dog!

He keeps cornering poor Pouncer. You'd think the cat would have learned by now to stay away.... but nooooooo. He has to keep approaching the new critter!

I'm sure the owner will call. Nobody has their dog completely up to date including the local dog license and then not claim him once he's lost. They probably don't know that he's gotten out!

A JRT being a ball of energy???? Perish the thought! hehehe He is a handsome boy tho. THey can be a handful, but I'm sure between the cats and Nikki they can whip him into shape, should that become necessary. Hopefully (maybe?) you get the call from his parents... otherwise... Congrats on the new edition!

    Awww!! He's adorable!

I'm glad Nicki let you know he was there so you could take him in and help find his owners.

Oh, what a cutie! He's adorable, hopefully he will get back to his owners (even though your girls want to keep him!) and they don't have to worry anymore.
Does he have tags? And a name?

He's got quite a few tags, so I'm confident his mommy and daddy will claim him. My daughter said, "oh, he looks like a Skip" And I said, "well, you're right!" LOL His name is Skip. Isn't that cute?

Well, he's finally relaxed and calmed down a bit and I finally got a real good shot of him. Isn't he just the cutest thing?

One floppy ear! I am some serious trouble if the owners don't call for him. He's too darned cute. Unfortunately Miss Nicki is very jealous and acting wounded and pitiful. I don't know if I could keep the pup just because it would really make Nicki sad.

As for the cats... Pouncer's having a ball. He keeps teasing the pup and waiting for him to react. When Skip reacts, Pouncer goes running for his life... and then slowly creeeeps back into the room for another round of "catch me if you can"

Ah, his mommy called. She had her babysitter walk over with the kids and they picked him up.

I am quite annoyed though - they KNEW he was loose and they looked for him but then they just left for work What? Were they hoping a nice person would find him and take car of him for the day like I did? chances are he would have gotten hurt or worse! I found him in my yard, which is right next to a very busy street. She said he gets out a lot. Well, do you walk him enough? A dog like that needs lots and lots of exercise.

Bye bye lost dog. If you ever get out again, you're welcome to visit me again!
