I was giving Nicki her new Flea protection yesterday - K9 Advantix. I've never used it before so I was reading the package carefully. I must have seen bolded and capitalized several times not to use on cats. OK- it does say K9, but someone might be fairly stupid and try to apply it on a cat.

But what I don't understand is the warning about FISH... *Warning K9 Advantix is highly toxic to fish. So not apply to fish or in their water* Huh? Since when might a fish need flea and tick prevevention. Fess up... who's the moron?!?

PS: Anybody have experience with K9 advantix? The vet suggested it for her since she's so allergic to all types of bug bites. It even has mosquito protection (is that where fish come in???)

I can see it now.......Catch fish (This is a job in itself).......Try to hold fish while putting Flea protection on it

Isn't it ridiculous that a warning like this is even needed? But some fish person would sue them probably, if it wasn't on their packaging!!!!
