    Earle's exciting weekend....

Earle has been a very busy boy this weekend:
First on Friday night we went to a friend's place. He has 20 acres of land in the middle of nowhere on a lake. Earle had a great time swimming, chasing ducks, running ect.

    checking out the lake.

Going for a swim--this is unusual for Earle. He usually likes to keep his feet on the ground.

Then today he went for a big run with his friends==Chase, Daisy and Goldie.

    Playing in Wolf Creek.

Running with his friends--A herd of happy dogs!

    The happy boy!

Glacier: what beautiful surroundings you have. One day I hope to travel up North and drink in the scenery that you enjoy every day.

Earle certainly looks like he's in his glory. Brrrr, that lake must still be cold????

BTW: I just love your sig in memory of Hoodoo.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

The lakes here are always cold! There are very few that get warm enough for swimming, unless you're a dog! There was still ice farther out on the lake. That one never does--it's too big. Only the little "pothole" lakes get warm enough to swim. I do a lot of kayaking and even in July I often wear my drysuit just in case I end up in the water!

Those photos are absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Do you think Earle could teach Nebo how to SWIM? He will wade in water but freaks out if he can't touch.
