I snapped a few shots of the girls today so I thought I'd share.

Here's Mokey hiding in my girlfriend's purse.

This is my girlfriend's rat Ari (short for Arigato).

I also have a question. Today I bought a little melon platter since it was on sale. I know that it's ok for them to eat watermelon. But are cantalope and honeydew ok for rats to eat?

(However, I advise you to take the newspaper out of the cage, the ink can be dangerous if they nibble on the paper. The ink also rubs off onto their tail and feet)

Watermelon, Canteloupe, and Honeydew are excellent treat choices! When strawberries are in season be sure to get them some! My ratties LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE strawberries!!!

Oh, darn, when I see such cute little ratties, I just want one soooo bad! I just can't help it when I see those eyes and those cute little fingers.

I love the picture of Mokey crawling around in your girl friends purse, the little nosy baby! They are all so sweet. I would love to see them eating the watermelon and the cantalope, I love watching them using their little fingers, and holding their food! Its adorable.

Actually most newspapers now print with vegetable ink which is perfectly safe.

All you have to do is call the paper and ask what type of ink they use. My rats get shredded newspaper all the time and love it!

Cute pics. I have already seen them but seconds are always good!

I am glad to see she is fitting in.
