    Bird attacking cat!

I’ve been watching a couple of birds in my backyard who build a nest in this bush.

Never went close to the nest as not to disturb the young ones nor did Phoenix who occasionally gets to go out on the deck.
I wish I had this on video but you just have to visualize.

Phoenix was sunning himself on the deck minding his own business when kamikaze bird swooped down and pecked him on his butt trying to shoo him away. Phoenix just laid there with this perplexed look on his face but than the bird kept after him until he ran inside.
What kind of bird is this brave little guy?

Feathers all fluffed up and ready to attack!

Thanks to BCBlondie for this great signature!

LOL! Without even looking at the picture, I knew exactly what type of bird it was going to be! We used to have a nest in a bush next to our house and the mama bird tried to attack Nicki everytime she was outside too. Nicki wore the same "huh?" look.

By the way, He looks ever-so-handsome sitting there.
