Your little rattie is so cute. It always amazes me to see those little fingers. The way they hold their food, and it actually looked like she was holding her little nose. How sweet!

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your new baby, Congratulations on your new baby!

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Oh, she's so pretty! And, tiny! What are you wanting to name her? People names or names from movies, books, etc or names based on her color or her personality? I always prefer people names, so, that's what I lean towards.....tell us some of your ideas, and, if you want help, I'm sure some folks will give you some ideas! Maybe even a poll! Whatever you name her, it's sure to be the perfect name. Is this your first rat? Sorry, I dunno!

    Thanks, Dogz!

That's a cute name! I'm excited for you, my rat is awesome! If I ever get more rats, I'm wanting to get several girls as wee young things so they can grow up together. But, it'll be awhile, though. Finn takes up so much time, and, I want to make sure I can give whatever rats I do get a lot of attention! It's hard enough with one (Luli)!

    Thanks, Dogz!

Oh, I was thinking about names for rats, too, yesterday, just cuz I was so bored at work! I came up with these....(but, they're both boy names!) Lennon and Dice. Actually, they could go either way! Do you know what breed she is?

    Thanks, Dogz!

l don't really think she's any special kind of breed. She was a feeder rat, and now she's a pet rat

Yay! A a rescued rat! That's awesome! I was only asking cuz sometimes it's cool to name them because of their breed. Let us know what you call her!

    Thanks, Dogz!

There are no breeds of rats, only types, as in colors, markings, coat etc.

She is a beautiful young girl! She is about 5 weeks old and like I had guessed, a beautiful agouti berkshire doe. Her hair is fairly long so I would say she is a satin as well.

Congratulations on your new rat baby, she is so cute. What about the name Mocha, similar to Mokey but a little different.

Mocha is a GREAT name, but I am a bit biased since I have a Mocha here.
