Taking A Walk On The Wild Side!!

Last night the local UPN affiliate showed a news story about
a dog who use two prosthetic 'shoes' to help him move about...
it was a great story.....while trying to find a link to that story I can across this..

This made me want to cry.....

What is it with animals that are born that way?

I truly believe that they don't know what their limitations are.
    That's what makes them special!

Oh Richard...made me cry too! What big, brave hearts these special ones have! You're right! Don't tell THEM there's something "wrong" with them! They set a great example for us humans, I might add! Thanks Richard

Neither of mine were born handicapped, but are now. Bear lost his sight at 10 years old and Scruffy lost his rear right leg at nine. They both are an inspiration to me. They just don't give up!
Scruffy can outrun bigger dogs anytime. Bear has the house and yard all mapped out, rarely running into anything.

What a great story! My friend's schnauzer is missing his front leg, but he doesn't care. He gets around just as well.

    Thank you Wolfie!

I read the story and saw the video - isn't that sweet that the dog could run like that and enjoy it! I think we humans may have much bigger problems with handicaps than animals, they seem to adjust so easily - and they don't have to worry about looks ans appearance. They'll charm their way into any humans heart!
