Bob and Ebby

When I get a bath Bob loves to wait around for bubbles (I scoop them for him

) and usually I shut the door to Ebby's 'apartment', the other day though I put the gate thingy there instead.

"Did I see that Bobby dog?!"

"Yes, it's me, howya doin' Ebby cat?"

That's it really. Ebbs did the arching back and swishing tail thing a little bit, but she didn't hiss. Bob didn't stay around there anyway, he was too interested in the bath bubbles.

Ebbs just watched from behind the gate. "Hrmmph! Silly dog!"

sounds like our Ebby and Merlin, Ebby now thinks i should be the door man for her at 6AM(I don't have to be up till7) So she crawls up and purrs and rubs Merlin till he gets mad and wakes me up and complains about her. At least we don't have the rodieo we used to ,I really am not a good arena.
I just can't get enough of Bob.

Corinna, thanks for the nice comment about Bob. And isn't it a nice coincidence that we both have a springer spaniel and a cat called Ebby, especially as at one time I had the name Merlin in my mind for Bob!

and yes, Ebbs does have that room to herself, for now anyway, and it is a bigger room than mine! I'm in the process of clearing stuff out of there and when I've finished I might just move in there myself.

The rug you like isn't so good close up, it is over 31 years old and has had it's share of wear and tear, here it is, complete with dogs, in 1976.

Bob and Ebby are both so cute.

It's nice to see them so close together.
I forgot, does Bob like it when it is his bathtime too?
I have a feeling that Ebby is just happy that it's not time for her to have a bath.

Does Bob like a bath? Well, not much. I can't lift him in the tub nowadays, and he won't go in of his own accord, so it is out in the yard with water from a spray attachment on the taps. I tend to get vey wet!
