4 years ago that my Katz went to the RB (many pics)

On May 3rd, 2000, I had to make the toughest decision to bring my best friend and soulmate Katz to the vet to have her PTS. She had just turned 14 two days before and she was so sick (feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy & congestive heart failure), and her condition got so bad that day that I couldn't stand it to see her suffer any longer. She lived with me as a single cat for 14 years and meant the world to me.

It's 4 years ago now that she passed over and I'm still missing her but I know that also good things can result from such a tragedy; I know I wouldn't have Luna in my life if Katz did not go to the RB at that time, and I love my Luna with all me heart and I'm happy I've met her! )

Anyway, I would like to remember Katz on the 4th anniversary of her passing, and would like to share some of her pics. Since she was already a RB kitty when I came to PT in 2000, you never really "met" her, but I hope you'll enjoy her photos. She's my sweet little soulmate and I will never forget her.

Kirsten, I am finding it hard to type through the tears right now. What a wonderful gift, to be able to share your life with Katz for 14 years. You are such a wonderful Meowmie, and so good to your precious girls Luna and Lily.

Your final act of love was to sacrifice your own feelings, so that she did not have to suffer any more pain. I know that Katz will always have a special place in your heart, and she is watching you from the Rainbow Bridge, like a Guardian Angle.

Thanks everyone! The night I've lost Katz, somebody told me I would meet her soul again, in some shape... and I hope I will recognize her.

Luna has just been so sweet! It's the hour of Katz' death 4 years ago now, and Luna just curled up on my chest purring. Who knows where she would be if Katz' time hadn't come that year... Maybe she would be in a place where daily peeing and pooping on the floor wouldn't be tolerated...
I would probably have met Lily because she was born at my friend's house, but I would never have met precious Luna!

I believe in fate you had to met Luna & Lily as it was meant to be. (and yes thank goodness most people get fed up with a pooing cat, you are a saint )

Naahhh, not a saint... It's just that Luna won my heart the day I got her, and I love her no matter what! She helped me so much to cope with the loss. But how couldn't she with such a face?

Dont worry about Katz , as I have it , on Good Word , that he is on The Rainbow Bridge , and is a Captain , in the Cat angel army. and is doing a Wonderful Job , of helping the New arrivals! And is Bestbuds with the Found Cat Angels! And will be there , when your time , comes!Wonderful Pictures!!!
