    You'll never believe this...

    Look at what I came home to today!!


    Yep yep, that gorgeous girl is...MINE!! My mom and dad got a call yesterday ((which I was totally unaware of)) from the shelter Cameron was at. They told my parents about a 3-year old Siberian Husky they had named Snowflake. After meeting her today, they were hooked. I came home from school and there she was, lying on my bed waiting for me.

    I almost started crying I was so happy lol.

    She is one of the sweetest, happiest dogs I've ever met. Her tail is constantly wagging, and she has a smile that just doesn't stop.

    Her name at the shelter was Snowflake, but we renamed her Taelir ((pronounced "Taylor")).

    Here are some more pictures of her, but they are all from the shelter website. I took a bunch today with my digital camera, but since we are still having a problem getting the photos onto the computer I can't get them up right now for you to see. So these will have to do for now.

    Another Siberian Husky owner in here!! Wait til' Amy sees this thread!! Congratuations!! I'm proud of your parents to adopt!! I got Anna and she was only 2 years old when we got her.

    I know, I'm so happy! For ages, I've been so jealous of those of you owned by Huskies. Now I can proudly say that I am under the full ownership of a Husky-girl of my own.

    I never thought my parents would give into getting a Husky ((I know they take a lot of work)). My mom told me they weren't really planning on getting her at first, but as soon as my mom met her...she fell in love. And she quickly won my dad over. She also mentioned that she wanted to scoop her up before someone else did.

    That is AWESOME!! That's exactly what happened with my parents! We were gonna get a 8 weeks old yellow lab mix that we were looking at - then my dad saw the guy with Anna, so Dad remembered how I was crazy about Huskies and he went over and talked to him. He had told my dad that he would give her over to him, for FREE, he just didn't want to go through filling out forms to put her in the shelter - I was such a happy girl that day.. Anna freaked me out when I walked in the door, I remember, LOL.. She ran up to me, and I jumped, and I was like, Wait.. wait.. IS that OUR dog? I was so expecting a puppy.. but instead, we have her. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.
    You're the one sure thing I've found so you better stick around...

    lol I didn't even know what to do when I walked into my room. I just kind of stood there for a few minutes with my jaw dropped to the floor. Even after she got up and came over to me, I still couldn't grasp the whole concept. lol. And even now, as she's lying here next to me, I still don't really believe it. lol.
