Oh my goodness! Poor thing...I sure hope this cat can lose weight and get into a proper home. I hope there is not permanent damage done due to the extreme weight of this cat, you know? Wow. Suddenly my boys don't seem that big!

I am afraid this poor boy isn't Russian but German However the first newspaper that reported it was Bild which is not the most reliable of newspapers. So it still could be a hoax.

If it's not I hope he looses weight soon and finds a proper home soon.

OMG! Poor thing! and I thought Mishi was heavy! Yikes! I hope the cat gets the proper care and loses the weight safely and can live a long, healthy life. I just hope permanent damage hasn't been done to the poor thing.

This is so sad. I sure hope that it's not too late for this cat to lose the weight and live a happy healthy life.

I guess his elder parent had trouble remembering if he was fed yet. This story is sad

    Fat sad cat

I read this story on the internet and it mAde me so sad, but it also made me kinda mad because how could they not realize they were feeding him way to much! I realize that his owner is elderly but still? From the picture in the paper he looks like a beautiful cat. I hope he gets a good home and starts to eat again, but not so much!!
