    Pumpkin

    Dear friends,
One year ago today my beloved Pumpkin crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

He was 20 pounds of orange love. He was a Momma's Boy. Big, long haired, and a lap kitty. always wanted to be held, rocked, carried. When that boy brushed up against furniture he moved it. He was the sweetest boy. He was 12 years old and before I knew it had metastatic liver cancer. Our vet said that cats don't let us know they are sick until it is toolate. Oh Lord if only I had some clue I would have moved heaven and earth to save him.

Hi is our back yard.... with a beautiful statue of St. Franic that watches ober him an dkeeps him company. I always plant fresh flowers on his little grave.

THank you for listening dear friends.

Blessed be all of our furbabies that have crossed over. May they know that we still love and miss them.

I love you Punky..... Your Momma loves you so much and still misses you.

    Blessings,
    Momma Cat Deb

Oh dear Pumpkin! I'm sure he's at RB playing with my beloved Goldie who also went over the bridge last April 10 from liver cancer. They sure are masters at masking their illness. I tried to give her a high quality life even till the end; I did what I could no matter what it cost, but I knew when the time came that it was time to let her go.

What a lovely tribute to your dear kitty.

Goldie was also a bundle of orangie love - a very rare long-haired and beautifully fluffy orangie girl who I had raised from a kitten to the ripe old age of 15.

I know you'll spend moments of this day in reflection on your dearly departed kitty.

    Namaste.

    Dear RedHead,
    Are you a Reiki Practitioner?
I always say Namaste before I being and SHanti when I end.

I have been thinking of my baby boy all day. I will go to his little grave in a little while and talk to him as I do several times a week.

He was so precious, and had so much love to give.
Your angel crossed over just a few weeks before Pumpkin and the same disease. I hope they are happy, perhaps waiting for us.

THank you so very much for your kind thoughts and words today. I am so very grateful.

    Blessings.. Light.. And Love.... Shanti,
    Momma Cat... Deb

I practice yoga and Namaste just felt like the appropriate closing to use in a post like this.

    Hello MommaCat;

Read your story about Pumkin . By coincidence I had a Tom with the same name. I miss him too sometimes. He had to have his daily walk outside, and would only go out with me. After I got out of bed and started moving, he would be at the screendoor patiently waiting and giving me the stare treatment. I would open the door, and he would run down the steps, and we would walk around the house a few times. We would finish up with him stopping at his favorite grassy area so he could eat his greens for the day.To get him back inside, he would tease, I had to give him a light shove to get him moving and up the steps, and this was followed by swats and hissing and growling, he would put up this act until he finaly went back inside. He died of kidney complications. He was losing weight, and had obvious symtoms of kidney disease. I took him to the vet for tests, and the vet kept him for a few hours. After I got him home, he seemed OK, but went downhill. Had to take him back to the vets, where he had to be put to sleep. I didn't morn him long, I went up to the shelter and adopted Angel, and it's been love ever since...Hope you are adapting with your loss as well as I have mine
