    Kia to the Vet

    It's really warming up here and the bugs are starting to stir, so I made an appointment for Kia to go in and get a blood test to check for Heartworms and then she'll start on HeartGuard and Frontline.

    I'm sure everything will be fine, but I'm really nervous. I worry that because having a blood transfusion so soon after getting the PH6 shot, that the drug was in a sense flushed out of her system with her blood when it was replaced with the transfusion plasma.

    I hope my baby doesn't have heartworms. The vets then at the time said she might have a reaction to the HeartGuard the first time she takes it.

    Everything will probably be fine... but then.. everything should of been fine last June.

    Please keep my Kia in your thoughts.

    Yay!!!

    Blood work came back A-Okay!! No heartworms.

    I picked up the Heartgard, but she doesn't start her first dose until this Saturday.

    I'll give it to her in the morning and watch her closely throughout the day.
