    Lake Picnic W/ Tasha *pics*

    Today was a gorgeous day, and I figured a picnic with Tasha at the lake would be a wonderful way to start of my spring break. Tasha is my neighbors dog, who I just love to pieces, and she loves me just as much. Tasha is a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. I thought I'd share the pictures with you, afterall, she's such a ham for the cam. We walked to the lake using the horse/bike trail, the lake is about 5 miles away. We left at 9 AM and got back around 12:40 PM.

    Here's Tasha playing with her kong on the trail to the lake:


    It was all fun, until I lost her kong in the tree... She had a fit!


    Once we got to the lake we had our little mini-picnic:

    Then, after lunch, it was time for some photography shots:

    For a reward for being such a good model, we played with sticks, since the kong was high up in a tree...




    It was then time for a walk on the trails that surrounded the lake:



    Water play time was next on the list of things to do:
    "CAN I PLEEEEEZE GO IN THE WATER!?"


    "Is that a stick over there in the water!?"

    "Well, better go get it"

    So, that was my lake picnic with my buddy Tasha, hope everyone enjoyed.

    P.S. Her ear is partly shaved b/c she had a benign tumor (size of pea) removed the other day...

    I felt so bad that I lost her kong, so I went to Petco and I bought her a new kong, a greenie, and a big bag of dog treats for Easter. I took them over there earlier tonite, man o' man was she happy! I just wuv Tasha!

    Tasha is a beautiful dog!!!!!
    It certainly looks like she had a great day--a picnic, playing with her kong, walking the trails, swimming, playing with sticks--and then getting presents!!!!!!

    How great of you to spend time with her like that!!!!

    I would love to see more pictures of her sometime!!!

    Tasha's so beautiful How sweet that you and she share such a special friendship! What a gorgeous setting for a picnic and some playtime! I had to laugh when you posted the picture of the kong in the tree My girl Star's first kong has been swinging from high atop an oak tree in our yard for 3 years now It seems we all agree, this picture is magnificent!

    Thanks everyone. I have a couple of different pictures of her hanging on the fridge, I will have to scan them and post them. Next time we go on another outing I will take more pictures.
