Question about doves....

We have two doves that have suddenly been hanging around my work alot. They seem people friendly because they get really close to us. They'll actually perch on my work truck while I'm loading it up and whatnot. They get within inches of us.

Do you think that they're domesticated and I should try and catch them? Do you think they're husband and wife? Do you think that they're hanging around because they have a nest somewhere? (In that case, I shouldn't catch them.)

I don't know anything about doves, but this pair has intrigued me.

I think I would leave 'em be, but watch them. If they're in any danger, like cats around or something then you could catch them and take them to a wild life rescue for them to release them elsewhere. Although ,dove's are homing birds and they may end up right back there.

I think you're right...there really isn't any reason for me to capture them if they are doing fine. I'm just really intrigued by how friendly they are towards us. It's like they've been owned by someone.
