    Kallie

Kallie your story takes me back! I was a "dog person" until 8 years ago. Now you have won the hearts of your people and they will wonder what took them so long to bring a kitty into their lives. Maybe at some point, you'll even have a "sibling" kitty. That's what happened here. One cat is never enough! My cats live with a dog now too.

There are lots of nice humans here that can help your new mommy and daddy with some of their questions. We're so glad you have found Pet Talk and so glad that you were chosen as today's special Cat of the Day!!

Oh Kallie! What a face, what a story! You have been a great ambassodor for kitties ever! I too was a dog person until I held and played with a kitty like you and my heart has never been the same! I am so happy for you and for your mommy and daddy! My advice to your mommy and daddy is to make sure that you all have quality time! Durung the course of my busy week, I will always schedule plenty of time for belly rubbing, head scratching, playing, holding, and overall petting! I hope your daddy has plenty of spoil in him on this, your special day! kisses on your sweet head little one!

Congratulations on your first cat! Kallie is a beauty...you just can't go wrong with a brown tabby.

I, too, was a dog person until I was 28. In fact, I didn't care for cats at all. That sounds crazy to me now, since I became a born-again cat person. They are wonderful, loving animals, each with a unique personality and a sweetness beyond description.

You will have no trouble learning about cats...Kallie will teach you plenty. And once you find other cat people, you will have tons to talk about.

As others have mentioned, another cat makes it even better. Believe it or not, it's easier for us humans. Best of luck to you and welcome to the furry world of cats!

Kallie! Don't let anyone tell you else wise. Girls as beautiful as yourself were meant to be spoiled rotten; especially by our dads!! And you tabby girls really have a way of capturing even the hardest of hearts! Even a dyed in the wool dog person! Congratulations precious Kallie. You found a most wonderful forever home, and you deserve nothing less. Being selected as our very special, very admired Cat of the Day honoree is just the start of a lifetime of praise and distinction, I'm sure! Lots of love to a beautiful tabby Kallie girl!
