Your story was wonderful!! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to read how your person saw you and couldn't get you out of their mind for a whole week!! (But of course we know YOU did the picking, with those beautiful green eyes of yours). How could they resist! Well hello there, namesake! You're such a pretty little kitty! What's interesting is that you bear such a striking resemblance to my Cherry, a feral kitty who wandered into our backyard some eight years ago; she's gone over to the Rainbow Bridge in '98 and I still think about her from time to time. Your picture sure brought back a lot of pleasant memories and I'm so happy like the others in this board that you and your human found each other. May you live a long, happy and loving life!

You absolutely made the right choice in choosing this cat over the others!

I have a Maine Coon mix that looks just like this one and I picked her over what kittens other people thought were "cuter", but she grew into a gorgeous Maine Coon look-alike. And as a kitten she jumped way into the air -- at least 3 feet -- like your new kitten does (and still does, at 11 yrs of age). Maine Coons are known to have a wonderful disposition, so congratulations on your choice!

Daisy, you look alot like a little Daisy I know - my son and I were on a walk and we heard a loudly crying kitty - we saw a little kitten on a porch, seemingly desperate to get inside. I knocked on the door, but the people inside said they had never seen her before. We put her in my jacket pocket and took her home. A family member adopted her, and she has grown into a sweet, beautiful kitty.
