Birds building nest right outside our window

Last week we noticed quite a lot of activity in one of the trees outside our window. Some birds were flying back and forth to collect things, so a nest is being built.



I'm amazed that they chose a tree right in front of an apartment block, as there's a little park - and behind that a cemetary, just across the road.

This is as far as they got in a weeks time.


Luckily, it's not outside our bedroom window!

Oh yes, you can bet he has!! He sits in the windowsill for hours, following every movement - and chatters away about what's happening. In fact, he's quite busy, running from the front to the back, because he also has to know what Pjevs in the yard is doing.

LOL, Fister, everithing but loose control what's happening around the neighborhood and then reporting to Randi

Looks like they are Magpies, always bold birds.

You're right, Barbara! When there were more cats in the yard, the magpies sneaked up behind the cats and tried to bite their tails. Some of the cats were horrified!

I bet Fister is having a BLAST!!.. Tinky and Jupiter want to know if they can come over and watch Fister's BIRD TV?!?
