Even more pictures from the Pet Expo in Vancouver!

Ashley (binka) posted a thread in dog general, but since the pics I have are of all kinds of animals, I will post it here.

Here is a link to the album, because I don't want imagestation to get mad at me. I will post a few, though

A pretty snake. I don't know what kind it is though, but Nathan thought it looked like a creamsicle

I love this guy!! He's so cute!

I got to pet this cutie. He was really soft!

    More coming...

This bomb sniffing dog LOOOOVED Vickie (Slick)... because she had treats!!

Here's me petting this sweet, sweet St. Bernard. It was a booth for raw diets, and she was staring INTENTLY at a dish of food!! Eventually she just rested her huge head on my arm.. awww

8 day old kitten named Winston. The family that found his pregnant mommy took her in, and will take Winston once he's old enough to get off the bottle. The other kittens in the litter died and so the mom rejected this little guy, but the family that found her will get her spayed and let her live with Winston, too!

    me petting the SWEETEST greyhound

    AWWWW

See the little chicken sleeping between the bunnies?

    more coming..

Great pics! Too bad we didn't bump into each other though.

I especially loved the St. Bernard. He was such a gentle guy and so adorable! I remember that he was at the raw food booth and as I was walking by, I saw a lady sample some of the food.. I really hope she didn't get too sick.

    Great pics! very cute!

Psst..Does Max have a shaved belly? Sara has some mats on her we've been battling for a while, but we haven't been brave enough to take out the electric razor yet.

Oh my God that's soooo hilarious. Look at my poor baby's shaved tummy. Yes Jordan, Max went to the groomers a week prior to this pic being taken. He had some mats because I didn't comb him enough because of working late hours. I promised him I would do better in the future.

    Anyone want to rub????

Sara would kill! Lol. I could never take her to a groomer's. I called every vet in town to see how much it would cost to get her put under and shaved. Get this -- the average price was around $200!!! The cheapest I found was $53, but my mom is still not impressed. As I always say, "When I move out....."

    $200.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!omg!!!!!

holy crap!!! I had Kylie shaved while she was under for her dental and it 'only' cost me $30.00. Which I still thought was a lot b/c I only paid $15.00 to have her belly shaved, nails done, and a complete bath at the Groomer's!!

apologies to Nomi for being Off topic!!!

Really?! I wish I lived...wherever you live...*shifty eyes* lol. It's mostly because the anesthetic (sp?) costs money, and apparently it costs more because she's a long haired cat (and how often exactly do short haired cats get mats??? ).

I'm sorry for getting off-topic too!

Max goes to the groomers only twice a year and they only charge me $45.00 for a bath, blow dry, nail trim, and ear clean. If I tried to do it at home I'd lose a finger or two. He's really calm at the groomers and they love him. Go figure.

PCB: I was really hoping to meet some birdies that were really friendly but the ones that were there were "unpettable". That was the only thing I was disappointed in. I really wanted some "hands on" time with some birdies.
