I think this new board is just fantastic, I check out the cat of the day site, EVERY day!
I thought that Pumpkin Sunroof, what a cutie, really resembled our late Oscar. And today's Phread (unique spelling!) is so sweet, she doesn't look 17 years old! I didn't understand the previous post about the water fountain for cats with kidney problems, is it for the cat to drink from? I just didn't understand what the connection was supposed to be. Could someone explain?

Yes, the fountains are for the kitties to drink from. I have been considering buying one for my Gretl, she seldom drinks from a bowl, but LOVES to drink from the bathroom faucet. The fountains that you can buy re-circulate the water from the bowl, up into a little waterfall, that many cats like to drink from. For a kitty with Kidney disease, this promotes water intake - so important! Hope this helps!
