KS, MO, and IA drivers?? Now I'M coordinating a transport...

Ok guys, I am now officially suckered! I'm trying to fill a transport for the 13th with 6 dogs from Clay Center, KS to Albert Lea, MN...here's the transport, if anyone can help I would appreciate it. If you can't drive a leg, would you please crosspost to as many places as you can? Thank you!!!

    Molly

    PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST!

This is for a transport of 6 dogs coming from a kill shelter in Clay Center, KS to rescue at Mutts for Love Rescue in Albert Lea, MN. We are planning on running this on Saturday March 13th. All dogs will be traveling with health certificates and will have their shots, and will have collars and leashes. Crates will be optional. There is 15 minutes built in at the end of each leg for transferring the dogs and letting them potty.

Thank you so much for all who will be willing to drive. Your help is most appreciated.

I have company coming into town from California that weekend, but I've e-mailed her to see if it would bother her to help. I might be able to do Osceola to Ames run. Will know more tonight or first thing in am.

Robin, you're a doll, but someone actually agreed to do that leg late last night. I am going to hope that you will be able to help in the future as Valerie pulls quite a few dogs from there.

    Thanks!!!

OH GEEZ!! How quickly things change....now there are 4 dogs not 6 and the driver that I thought might be able to help from Ames to Mason City can't do it. If I can get Rachel to take that leg, do you think you could help with the Osceola to Ames leg? Thanks!

If you me me Mugsy, no problem. I've talked to my sister who'll be in from California and she said she'd help. I have kennels (1 large - 1 smaller). What do I need to do? Which animals will be traveling?

Well Robin, if you are willing to drive south of Osceola, we could use a the leg prior to that filled. You are the best for the offer. I have Iowa filled, but need the 2 legs in MO filled. Kansas filled also...it's great!

Corinna, Shadow is staying at the shelter for awhile longer and the little Lhasa has had a lot of apps on her, so she is staying and the little chi/pug mix got adopted. Thanks for your interest and your prayers...we need them.

I hate to say this, but that's quite a ways out for me. It would take a couple of hours for me to just get into Missouri and then another hour or better to get to Coffey.

I'm afraid you'll have to count me out this time, sorry.

Thank you so much for offering Robin...it may be taken care of yet, so I'm sure it will go. My mom is in the hospital so I'm not totally up to speed with what's happening today...I will update you later!! thanks again!
