This time he pooped in the house. I think this is the first time he's ever done that, I don't remember him doing it even as a puppy.
It's not really his fault, however. He usually sleeps on the bed in my room with the door closed. He'll sleep in as late as I sleep with no problems. Last night I fell asleep downstairs on the couch, and he slept on his bed. So he wasn't shut in a room, he was loose.
My mom always wakes up early, she was up around 6 a.m. That woke Nebo up, and she let him outside with Reggie and Sydney. I was still asleep. I know Nebo would have still been asleep if it weren't for the commotion in the house of my mom and the other two dogs.
We used to have a sliding glass door. Nebo rarely barks, so I attached a large bell to the door. When he needed outside he'd ring the bell. However, last weekend we put in a new door. My parents didn't want the bell banging up the new door, so the bell was gone. I ordered a doorbell just for dogs to use instead, but it hasn't arrived yet.
Anyway, about an hour later I heard my mom yelling at me...Ugghhh...Nebo had made a nasty mess in the house!I guess he was running like crazy up and down the stairs trying to get my mom's attention (she was on the phone, and I was asleep). She just thought he was playing until he started making the mess! It was runny too (sorry for the mental images there) so I think he was a bit sick. Poor guy!
I just hope this is an isolated incident, and I think it is. I need that new doorbell to arrive soon! Wow that took an entire page to tell one story about a dog pooping in the house lol.![]()
