I'm so proud of my boy! (a few pics)

Well, I'm bored and I thought, why not update you guys on Kaedyn's progress.

Back in September, Kaedyn was horribly dominant with Kai, yappy, knew no commands and did NOT like laying down on command. We actually doubted that we could keep him because he was just way too dominant with Kai.

He's such a different dog now!! He's accepted the fact that he can't be alpha over Kai, he downs with a wag in his tail (back a couple months ago, he grunted and bit me when I asked him to down), and he's completed basic obedience with flying colors! He actually did better than Kai, who was doing obedience for the second time as a refresher.

Here's something we've been working on ever since September. Whenever Kai got into his crate, Kaedyn would go bizzerk and make it loud and clear that he didn't like it. Just a couple weeks ago, he bit Kai through the crate and gave Kai an 'owie' on his nose. Well, here he is a couple days ago. I'm so proud of him!

And here he is graduating from Obedience (with my mom)

Way to go Kaedyn! Did you use clicker training with Kaedyn? Just curious.

I do some clicker when I'm teaching him a new command but for the crate thing, he got a squirt of water everytime he went nuts. I've been doing the same for barking at people in front of our house. Seems to be working really nicely.
