    Squash's Last Day Here

Well I'm taking Squash back up to the shelter tomorrow. Its been a very successful week. She came to me a very timid, undersocialized dog and she's leaving a very happy, silly girl.

First day, too scared to get out of the car:

Last day, being goofy on the bed:

It takes one week with you for a shy dog to come out of her shell. Way to go Aly. She's adorable and I'm sure, will be adopted in no time!

Squash is beautiful, Aly! It's a good thing you didn't have her when I was out that way or I would have had to find a way to bring her home with me. And you can certainly tell you worked your charm on her.

She is so cute. There's no way you could get angry with her. That one of her sleeping amidst her "spoils" is very cute.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

We're on our way out the door now

I'm way too attached. The only way I am able to bring her back is I'm going to be at the shelter a lot so I can watch over her. Also it will give Lolly and the cats some peace
