    Eaten Alive

Did anyone watch this program on Animal Planet last night??? It was one of the most digusting shows I think I've ever seen! It was basically about parasites (and their diseases) that can be picked up by humans. (i.e. worms, etc.)

I'm not sure what kept me glued to the TV for the entire hour...must've been morbid curiosity.

Actually I happened to be visiting my Grandma last night and we watched it together. It was disgusting/disturbing... but informative. I'm not sure I want to visit a foreign country anytime soon after seeing that.

Grandma kept saying, "Do you mind if I turn the channel?" and I'd say "No." and then she wouldn't change the channel. LOL!

    Morbid curiousity indeed.

I couldn't watch the whole thing. But I caught one part, where that massage therapist had a nine inch worm come out of her butt on Friday morning. She put it in her pocket for safe keeping, finished the day at work, and didn't go to the doctor until Monday. WTF?! If I had a worm come out of my butt, believe me...I'd be at the hospital in two seconds flat. I'd be hysterical.

    Thank you Wolfie!

I didn't see the show but I don't think I would want her massaging me if I knew. Some people and their health habits are just plain disgusting.

    1) she picked it up with a wad of toilet paper (It was a round worm)

    2) she did wash her hands

Not sure why she didn't go to the hospital. Maybe too embarressed?

If this is the same one I saw, did you see the one about the worm in the guys head? I think it was in his brain. That show totally grossed me out. To think of all these parasites that live on/in us. Creeps me out, too.
