Dog gives his life to save owners from fire

An apartment in the small town Dietikon (Switzerland) where an elderly couple lived with their dog caught fire. The dog desesperatelly barked to wake up their owners. The old man could save his disabled wife, but not the dog which died due to smoke poisoning. 23 Families had to evacuate the apartment house and 12 wounded were sent to the hospital.

Here, my homage for this little hero.

All you wanted to do was to save your owners and yet you perished. Life seems to unfair sometimes. RIP little one.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What a brave dog - a real hero! How sad he didn't survive.

    Rest in Peace, sweet one!
