We Did It!
We broke down and bought an electric litter box for just inside (not for all the ones we have in the garage) and really like it! We have no odor now, it's always clean (which the cats love), and fairly easy to work. We've ran into a few glitches, one being if you put too much litter in it, it will keep trying to empty, and if the litter gets shifted too much in one area it has a problem emptying. Other than that it's wonderful! I think we'll keep it!

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
