    Why are you "invisible"?

    I have noticed that a lot of members are always "invisible" and I have wondered why. Sometimes, more members are "invisible" than not. I have been in "invisible" mode myself a few times, and the reason has been that I was too tired, busy, or not in the mood to reply, or answer any PM's. Another reason could be that some are logged on from work and it's easier that way. No offence, I'm just curious.

    At the moment 12 are visible - out of 29 members.

    when I took my month long time out from pet talk in december I went to invisable mode so that when I didn't answer PM'S no one got mad. But I'm visable now!

    I'm always in invisible mode, and to tell the truth, I'm not really sure why exactly.

    I am invisible, because if you go way to the bottom of the page, you can go to "forum jump", then to "Who's Online", and other members can see what threads you are reading, if you are changing your profile, writting/reading PM's, etc. I feel it is a little nosy, and I want to be invisible. Once in a blue moon, I am not invisible.

    Go to User CP, Edit Options and the first one listed is Invisible Mode.

    I started in the invisible mode a while back when I had my feelings hurt and did not want to post. BUT I could not help reading!!! hee hee ... but I did not want to give anyone the "satisfaction" of knowing that I was lurking. (childish, I admit....but sometimes I am just like that. ) I never changed back.
