    Hi, I introduced myself a few weeks back and haven't really been on since, but I had told you about my pup Walter and promised pics, so here they are

    I hope more people come to look because he is a real doll! Is he all Beagle? I've heard they can be relentless if they smell something while out walking. Will follow the trail, no matter what. There's a Beagle in our neighborhood and Duke goes nuts when he sees her. I don't know why. He starts barking and jumping up and down. Could be because he just wants to play. Will look forward to more pics.

    dukesdogmom, he is a basset hound/beagle cross. I have been trying to get a pic of him from the side, so people can see how short his legs are and how long his body is.

    We adopted Walter from the pound where he had been for over a month. He had gone to a home for a week, but didn't get along with those people's dog so they brought him back. When we went to the pound, my husband and I were going to see a beagle, but before we could adopt him his owners picked him up. But while we were there, we met Walter (who's name was Fred at that time) and fell in love with his face. He is 7 months now and just the sweetest pup.
