    My Christmas present from John

I just have to share this beautiful present with you! I simply love it! John bought it for me in Kings Rd. at Christopher Wray's.

Going back, we decided not to check it in, it was slightly too big for the baggage rack above, but we managed to get it under the seat on the airplane. Her name is Eileen and is now standing on the telephone table, looking pretty. Only problem is that we probably can't get the right bulbs for her, she uses bayonet bulbs. In Denmark we use screw bulbs, but we brought 3 back.

Here she is, shot with different lightning.

Your lamp has the same name as my nephew's pretty girlfriend. Our Eileen is a lovely red-head, but she does shine quite THAT brightly!

It really isn't my nature to be jealous of other people's things.......but you got me good on Eileen!

I am jealous. I was just looking at lamps over the holidays in the Chicago Museum catalog and also in a store.

Randi, enjoy it......I know you will every time you turn her on......and sit by her on the phone.

That is really pretty! I'm sure it was kind of expensive as well. Very thoughtful gift.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Lovely! Thanks for sharing with us.
