when she wakes up she cant open her eyes and i have to takje a damp cutip and softly wash off the eye boogers from her eyes. they make her eyes stuck together!!! why?
she is housed on a clean towelthe only litter is in her litter box and it is Aspen shavings.

Hairless rats always get poryphrin staining on their eyes. Every hairless I have had always gets it, and so does all the others I have seen. It just goes along with being hairless, as they are much more sensitive to things in the air, and often times have allergies. Or she could be sick, but if she were sick you would see it on her nose as well. You can get some Natural Tears and coat the eyes if you wish.

its not on her nose. just on her eyes, so much that when she wakes up her eyes are glued closed
