Yes, a tip is appropriate and the amount, like anything else, depends on how much work your pet requires and how well a job the groomer does. I don't actually know if there is a rule about amount.

Really? Uh oh. Our groomer did a great job but I had no idea we were supposed to tip. She even offered to have me come in one day to get a few pointers. I'll have to give her a really big tip next time.

Yes, I tip the groomer over here. She does a GREAT job on Molly, so she deserves it.
