    Bunny poop bad for dogs?

A few nights ago, Mickey started barking like crazy because of something he saw in the yard. When we checked it out we discovered it was a rabbit or a bunny. It must have gotten loose or some idiot family turned it loose because it was after the holidays. Since Mickey was barking, he scared it off and I never saw it again. However, he did poop in our yard. Since then, we have found bunny poop all over the yard and even in our neighbors yard. He must still be around.

Apparently, my mom said Mickey has eaten some before she could stop him. I'm trying my best to keep it all poop-free but I can't be outside all day. Is bunny poop bad for Mickey? This might be a stupid question but I'm concerned that it may be. Thanks.

PS - Mickey does have all his shots

Yukky huh? LOL! I'm not really sure if it is bad for the dog but I know that dogs like to get into icky things. Mine love chicken poop.

All of my dogs (past and present) unfortunately have eaten bunny poop! I obviously can't imagine the attraction but they do it just the same. So far it hasn't hurt them and definitely bothers me a lot more than it seems to bother them.

Okay that's a relief then, to at least know it's not dangerous. Thanks.

Kito used to find little bunny nuggets around our old apartment last year--yuck!!! It never hurt him, but I can't imagine it was the best thing for him!!

Unfortunatly eating the rabbit's droppings might make him feel fit to eat his own or other droppings. Coprophagia is not a good thing because it could contribute to worms or other parasites if he eats an infected dog's droppings.

Just keep a close eye on him.
