Yes, catcrazylady had it right - I have a female rival in the house! This is more of the story! I posted daddy's girl Emily in her nightly sleeping spot (MY spot) here is as repeat in case you missed it:

Here is what happens earlier in the day. Daddy is getting ready to go hunting. Before he leaves, he is sure that Emily will pine for him while he is gone..."Now you be a good princess for daddy - I will miss you...SMOOCH"

Later...."How's my sweetie-pie? Did you miss Daddy? Well I am home now to snuggle you. I did not get us a deer but I brought you some jerky. Was mommy good to you?? SMOOCH"

I think Emily is wrapped around Daddy's finger!!!! Deb, don't fret Tigger and Mystic are the same way with their Daddy....although their Daddy will NEVER admit to it.

Just yesterday I caught Daddy picking up Abner and giving him a big kiss.....then the next thing I know is Daddy is saying what a pain "MY" cats are.....as if he expects me to beleive that one.

Oh Sirrahbed doesn't it make you want to throw up??? I'm glad Sammy loves his Daddy but he won't give me the time of day!! If I dropped off of the planet he wouldn't notice! I clean the litter boxes, I feed him, I snuggle him at night when his precious Daddy pushes him off!! I think he is a BRAT! But, of course, I love him to death and am happy with the occasional hand lick. I get real excited when he ALLOWS me to pet him without nipping me!
He is a ONE PERSON cat and it ain't me!!

I agree that Emily sure is a daddy's girl. All 4 of my furkids are momma's boys but they're forced to be because there is no daddy.
