    My fish died!!!:( :(

    my placostaus(sp?) died! i don't know why! he was fine this morning! mabye there wasn't enough algea for him to eat? i thpught they were s'posed to be sturdy fish that didn't die easily! i don't think the water was to hot or cold poor fishy

    Oh, I am sorry about your fish dying, though I don't know what that specie of fish looks like. I guess they just die sometimes, through no fault of yours. Okay?

    I'm sorry about your loss, plecos are one of my favorite fishies. How big is your tank? They need nore to eat than just algae...they like to eat wood and vegetation. They also get HUGE, so they tend to die in small tanks.

    Oh no! I am so sorry for your loss. I used to have Pleco's and they were so neat. They do get very very large like WolfChan said, but many of them harbor fishy diseases and they do actually die quite easily.

    i haven't put wood in there yet, i had a nice big chunk of wood i was going to put in there, but i haven't boiled it yet. mabye thats why.....i have a 10 gallon tank, but he was really small.he was only and inch long. his name was touchdown by the way....

    Sorry about your fish. Somtimes our little fish friends die, even if we do all the things that we are supposed to do.

    was it you who siad that you feed them a zuccini? doesn't it make the tank dirty?
    i heard that snails are better for goldfish tanks....do you know anything about them or if they are better then plecos?

    I feed my suckers & snails zuccini. or at least I did when I had them.

    for goldfish u don't really need any suckerfish. but snails r neat to watch.
