    The Barker Field Brawlers *PICS*

We had a great day today! I had been trying to talk my husband into getting sweaters for our two dogs. Guinness because he doesn't have a lot of body fat and Bailey because she has very short fur (the pit bull side of her genetics). Both of them seem very cold, especially when going out in the mornings. It's been very cold in Central Virginia lately.

Well, he finally realized that this wasn't a "fashion thing" but really a necessity. So, we went Petsmart. We were looking for sweaters. The only two we found that were the right sizes were the yellow and black rugby sweaters. Two of them, so we bought them. When I put the sweaters on them, Brian said "Well, I guess we have a rugby team now. Let's call them The Barker Field Brawlers!" (after the name of the dog park they go to.)

    Here's the pics!

The End! Hope you enjoyed! Happy Holidays to all!

Are they cute or what? The matching sweaters are adorable. How do they like them? I can't get any of mine used to wearing a sweater - I finally gave up.

Bailey wanted to chew the sleeves at first, Guinness just seemed unsure. Once they were outside, they loved them! No shivering from the cold at all. Also, they don't really notice the sweaters once they actually have them on.

It's harder to get them out of the sweaters than to get them in. They'll only be wearing them outside on walks. The apartment is nice and warm.

Great sweater outfits. They look good on them. They do
look like team mates. Very cute pics. Looks like they're ready
to get outside & try them out.

The doggy sweaters always bring a smile to my face. They look so cute. I would love to see Duke in one. Don't have many cold days down here, though. They probably don't make them for big dogs, either.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
