Please, celebrate life!!!

Christmas really is such a wonderful time...the highlight of the year...it's time that wishes come true...sometimes!
In all that hurley burley a lot of people have unfortunately lost the idea of the real meaning of Christmas...I am not particular religious, but it's the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus...we celebrate LIFE!!!
And as it is a time where all of us and our pets are looking forward to, it's a horror for the cows, calves, pigs, lambs, rabbits, chicken, turkeys...
Here's my simple wish:
Just one day during the holidays, please spare meat from your plate and celebrate life...
The cow, donkey and the lambs, they all have been at the stable at Jesus' birth, so they've been kind of his pets...please spare his pets for one day and make it a real peaceful Christmas...

I celebrate life everyday through veganism!
I would encourage everyone to try a meat-free meal this holiday, they can be equally filling but much healthier for you.

What a good idea and thanks for putting Christmas into proper perspective. I was listening to a radio talk show the other day in the car and they were talking about just such a thing with all of the commercialism at this time of year. One of the guests on the panel mentioned that they only buy their children three presents each, to symbolize the three presents from the wisemen. Wouldn't the stores be sorry if we all did that!
