    Puppy Pre-School :)

As of yesterday (Dec 17) Elvis is enrolled into puppy pre-school we start on January 3rd. the training school only uses positive training and gentle methods.

the lady/intructor was suprised when she learnt that i am involved in another dog club and different sports, but i am not using their puppy pre-school (i dont like the inside classes it is very crowded and the pups feel trapped).

all classes are held outside and the pups can socialise off lead in a fully enclosed yard and classes go for an hour with at least half of it being playing with the other pups. and there is a maximum of 6 pups to a class.

well i cannot wait and im sure Elvis will have a ball as well (who knows i may use this training school for all his training, except FLYBALL)

i will try and find their web site address.

    sorry for rambling

Cloverfdx, that sounds like a fun thing to do. Elvis will enjoy learning with other dogs around. He will feel more secure with mom around too.

Sounds like a fabulous class setting! I've been in puppy classes that were indoor and packed and it was stressful for both doggies and family! Isn't Puppy K fun!!! Makes me want to do it all over again....sort of !

I wish they had stuff like that here, I would love for my grandson to take his puppy through it. How old do they have to be to go through this kind of class?

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Sounds great! I hope you and Elvis have lots of fun. Keep us posted on how he is doing. Katie and I are going through a beginners obedience class right now and I love it. I like getting out and doing something with her and this way she gets to socialize a bit with other dogs. We are having fun.

Keep us posted and pics of Elvis please...along with the other also!
